Hi. I am a retired civil engineer, a Texas resident and proud mom of 2 teenagers (one child in college and the other preparing for college), I understand how difficult it is to send your child into the world, especially if they are far from home.

That’s why I created "Second Mom", to give both parents and students peace of mind. My goal is to be the trusted local person every student and parent can count on. I am here to make this college experience easier for everyone.

As a former college student that moved away from home, I understand how busy and overwhelming that time can be, and I remember how much my parents' support was missed when I was away from home.

As an engineer, I have years of experience troubleshooting problems, finding solutions, and making sure details don't get overlooked. I am naturally resourceful and enjoy researching-whether it's finding the right product, the best value or making all the puzzle pieces fit.

Now, as a self-proclaimed "helicopter mom", I know firsthand how important it is to pay attention to detail, anticipate needs, and step in when help is needed. I am excited when I get a chance to put these skills to work by providing students with support, problem-solving, and care they need while they are away from home.
